Very nice indeed. I shall be visiting the link you provided for further
details. Have you considered using 0.5″ hardware cloth under the roosting
area so that the droppings fall through to the ground (over your garden
plot for example during non-gardening months.) so that your would not have
as much cleanup to do and would be enriching your garden soil at once.

P.S. on further inspection of the plans at the site you provided (and they
are very nicely-done plans indeed) I do not see a roosting area. Is there,
in your opinion, an optimum place in the coop as it is drawn to place
roosts? Also I presume the coop is for 6 hens and a rooster. Is that
