How light/dark does it need to be to open/close?

The light sensor is adjustable from 1 lux to 100 lux. I have it set at the minimum 1 lux, so that it opens as early as possible. The time delay on the DPDT relay lets me add 20 minutes, or whatever works, beyond 1 lux at dusk before the door closes. I did this because one time the door shut before the girls all got it, but now they seem to be in well before 1 lux.

Could you make diagrams a little more clear. I can’t seem to make out the labels. Also, what type of parts do you have in your device? type motor, relay, etc. Keep up the good work! You rock!
